Purpose of position The Associate is part of a team assisting a Judge in the day-to-day management of Chambers and Court. The role of the Associate is to manage chambers, provide general administrative support to the Judge and to supervise the Deputy Associate.The Judge, in whose chambers this position is located, exercises the Court's federal law jurisdiction predominantly migration. This position involves no exposure to family law matters. Important Functions The person appointed to this position is expected to carry out their duties so as to:
