Lead the reservations team, monitoring and measuring daily performance to maximise revenue opportunities while providing exceptional service to guests via telephone and email.
Create and manage reservations via the hotels systems ensuring accurate booking rates, dates and booking details.
Actively work with the Front Office team on how to sell the hotel, convert enquiries to reservations and be aware of all promotions.
Provide exceptional customer service, listening to guests in order to understand their needs and offer the most suitable options.
Work with Sales & Marketing to promote packages and special offers, while monitoring Group Reservations ensuring quotes are being actioned in a timely manner.
Establish pick up trends, occupancy history, and market segment development to facilitate accurate forecasting.
Control rooms inventory including allotments, groups and individual reservations.
Work closely with the Revenue Manager in determining pricing planning and provide input into forecast figures.
Promote all hotel facilities, cross sell and upsell where appropriate.
