The opportunity:
We are seeking a Leading Hand to join our high-performing Caloundra workshop.
This role is an ideal fit for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic that's ready to take the next step in their trades career by becoming a hands-on leader to our workshop team including Apprentices, Trade Assistants and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
From general maintenance tasks and repairs through to major component rebuilds, youll get plenty of exposure to a variety of work across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting.
We offer secure and long term employment, a base rate of $44.51 per hour, various allowances and penalties, full supply of uniforms, and limitless career progression opportunities.
The boxes youll tick:
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
Experience in managing Apprentices and Trade
