About the Role The CSN will take a leadership role and display an expert knowledge of Early Psychosis including appropriate treatment pathways and nursing interventions, as well as Electroconvulsive Treatment (ECT) coordination and a physical health portfolio.
Supports the day-to-day needs and development of the unit staff acting as a role model and mentor
Provides secondary consultation at consumer clinical reviews and ward rounds as necessary Develops and maintains effective linkages to ensure optimal continuity of care between other parts of the service including Community Teams, Emergency Department, housing and other area mental health services, whilst supporting and upskilling junior staff to do the same.
Demonstrated experience and skills in the provision of a comprehensive range of nursing interventions for people experiencing serious mental illness and
