About you The successful applicant will hold a PhD qualification in a relevant field of health research, rehabilitation, or disability. It is highly desirable that you have extensive experience (3-4 years minimum) in conducting research with people with disability.
In addition to the above, you will have:
Extensive experience, including postdoctoral experience, conceptualising and conducting collaborative, mixed-methods (quantitative and qualitative) research using citizen science and inclusive research methods, to the highest ethical standards.
Experience managing numerous multi-disciplinary collaborative projects
Proven experience with clinical and longitudinal research in real-world settings like healthcare and policy.
Evidence of extensive track record of using inclusive research methods, specifically citizen science, in collaboration with priority population groups, including people with diverse disability and First Nations people.
Proven experience in developing partnerships and collaborations with people with disability, research end-users, and leading health institutions.
Demonstrated success in attracting significant external research funding, evidence of a competitive
