About the Role
As the Relief operator, you are responsible for providing self-managed cleansing services that ensures Parramatta?s Public domain is maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of the city and to promote Parramatta as Australia?s next great city!
Duties will include:
Undertaking inspections to the public domain and assets
Implementing work practices in line with waste and cleansing industry
Previous experience operating Mechanical Street Sweepers, Garbage Rear loading Compactors and operating a high-pressure cleaning unit pressure cleaning pavement
Permanent Part-Time opportunity working 21 hours per week.
The required hours are:
Saturday & Sunday- 3.00am-1.30pm
Friday & Monday- 6.00am-2.30pm
You will be starting and finishing at Council's Rydalmere Operations Depot or Council's Wentworth Street Compound Parramatta as required
Experience:
Relevant experience in a similar role and operational environment
Competent understanding of small and heavy plant
