Job Description: Are you an experienced Station Machinery Operator with a passion for the agricultural industry? Our client, managing a vast property in North Queensland, is seeking a skilled operator to join their team. With around 1 million acres and 40,000 head of breeder cattle, there are numerous roads and fences requiring your expertise and maintenance skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a Grader 40G for road maintenance, crucial for trucking and fire breaks.
Handle End Loader and Telehandler for loading hay onto trucks and other tasks.
Perform all-around duties including lick supplement distribution to cattle, fencing repairs, and water checks on artesian bores.
Assist with other station duties as needed, including cattle work.
Advantageous to have mechanical and welding skills (a full-time mechanic is available on-site).
