We currently have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson at our Curragh Mine based in Blackwater. Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor, you will be in a hands on role across both CHPP plants, working with fixed plant and conveyors. You will have a flexible and productive approach, to help achieve safety, production and quality targets.
What You?ll Bring
Key to your success will be your:
Experience working in Coal Handling Preparation Plants
A Mechanical Trade Qualification
Evidence of previous site competencies in a Coal Handling Preparation Plant
Current confined space & working at heights (within 12 months)
High risk EWP, Forklift, Front end Loader, Excavator and Bobcat would be highly regarded
A commitment to a positive safety culture and risk awareness and identification of hazards
Proven problem solving ability
Effective communication skills and team commitment
