Randstad Defence is proud to be a part of the Australian Defence Industry. We are currently working with a global aerospace company who are seeking an experienced Field Services Engineer to support their government and defence contract division.
The candidate must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance.
As a Field Services Engineer, you will
Provide on-site technical support for installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of various avionics systems and equipment.
Work with project managers and systems engineers for Testing, and Verification & Validation activities.
Manage client enquiries in relation to technical equipment and provide them with efficient customer service.
Provide support to end-users by conducting training sessions to ensure the users know how to operate and maintain equipment effectively.
Maintain accurate records technical of documentation, prepare service reports, and provide project updates.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service engineering, preferably within the defence industry.
Expert knowledge of avionics systems, radio communications, and military communication systems.
Ability to provide solutions to complex technical issues independently and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Ability to travel intestate and internationally for field assignments.
