The Role
As a core member of the Finance team, and reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of the indirect taxation reporting and compliance for ABC and its overseas affiliates. The role plays a key part in ensuring that the group's tax compliance obligations, risk framework and governance are met and applied appropriately.
About You
CA/ACA qualified, you are a highly skilled tax professional with a demonstrated track record in preparing GST, FBT returns, and other indirect taxation compliance obligations.
With proven experience working in tax within a professional service environment, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
You have a strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles.
You excel at implementing financial projects with superior attention to detail and can autonomously handle complex taxation matters with minimal supervision.
You are proficient in using SAP or equivalent ERP systems, as well as other business software.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent analytical abilities, enabling you to produce high-quality reports through thorough research and consultation at all organisational levels.
You stay up to date with changes and developments in taxation laws.
Your ability to advise employees in tax matters, combined with your initiative and capability to meet tight deadlines, makes you a valuable asset to any team.
