Underground Ventilation Engineer Northern Star Resources have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for an Underground Ventilation Engineer to join the Underground Mining team at the Mt Charlotte operations, residentially based in Kalgoorlie . Mount Charlotte is a historic mine that has been backed with significant investment in recent years, resulting in a long-term exciting future for the growing team of mining specialists leading, operating, and maintaining the mine. This is a residential position working an 8/6 12-hour day roster, with the unique benefit of being less than a 10-minute drive to any front door in Kalgoorlie. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer your main responsibilities will include:
Lead, train and manage the ventilation technicians completing the statutory UG ventilation surveys and monitoring the UG installation of secondary ventilation
Complete ventilation design for new mining levels and stope extraction plans, including ventsim modelling
