The Sales Account Manager, WA creates and oversee the implementation of Rock Drilling Tools Sales/Technical Support of products utilized in the customer site to enhance Sales/Area Operational effectiveness. Responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with clients and maximizing sales opportunities within the existing and new clients in WA, primarily in Perth and Kalgoorlie area. Identification of field operational solutions that will improve product quality: customer sales productivity is also part of the responsibilities. Builds log-term relationships with the office personal/customers in Kalgoorlie and with other members. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary role of sales is to work with other department to establish the design, technology and product development and help establish vendor strategy
The primary role as Product/Technical Support is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients
Monitor customer issues and quality control feedback from Sales and work with our factory team to resolve issue on time.
Research and monitor existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities.
To support the Sales team in troubleshooting product and technical issue at the customer site.
Plan Persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business
To grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approve budgets.
Provides technical training to other area team members on an assigned business trip.
Complies with and enforces established policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional image consistent with our profiles in the marketplace, particularly when handling telephone and casual enquiries.
Actively support and contribute management system.
Support stock management, including purchase plans and sales forecasting.
Business trips to Kalgoorlie twice a month from Perth (if not residing in Kalgoorlie).
Skills and Conditions:
Ideally experience of Rock Drill Consumable
Previous experience as an Accounts Manager or Manager level in similar Rock drill industry is ideal
Willingness to travel interstate and International
