Our growing FMCG business located on the Mornington Peninsula, is looking for an energetic, passionate & highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager
Duties will include:
· Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the deployment of quality systems and certification processes within an organisation.
· Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
· Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
· Setting customer service standards
· Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers
· Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety
· Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
· Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
· Determining training needs
· Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
· Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information
It is essential you possess the following:
· Hands on and show of commitment
· Successful completion of an appropriate degree
· Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills required
· Good analytical skills, attention to detail and decision-making ability
· Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
· Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
· Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
