The pay range for this position is $40 - $55per/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and associated systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections.
- Using diagnostic software to determine faults and plan repairs.
- Operate in compliance to the NHVAS scheme.
- Conducting regular maintenance on Hawk Logistics diesel-powered vehicles and machinery (trucks, forklifts).
- Diagnosing and inspecting issues using scanning tools and computers.
- Performing necessary repairs using hand and power tools.
- Keeping accurate records of service and repairs.
- Carrying out Preventative Maintenance inspections.

Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Motor Mechanic.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance and repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience with Kenworth, Mercedes, Cummins and Volvo, desirable but not essential.
- Experience in general fleet Maintenance.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology or equivalent.
- Current forklift license desired.
- HR license desired.
