Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our Sydney branch. The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience and a solid understanding of basic accounting, financial, and tax principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily sales entry from sales summary;
Banking and bank reconciliation;
Accounts payable and receivable;
Preparation of financial reports;
Inventory control and reports;
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications:
Relevant work experience in accounting;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Proficiency with math;
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
Proficiency in MYOB and the MS Office Suite;
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen status.
Salary and Benefits:
Starting salary from $50,000 per year, depending on individual ability;
Statutory superannuation;
Annual staff bonus;
Yearly salary review;
Working hours: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
