A.B Automotive Services Pty Ltd The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trucks and heavy vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition, adhering to safety standards, and performing preventative maintenance. Your role will involve working with a range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You should be comfortable using diagnostic tools and equipment and have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Benefits Competitive salary Opportunity to growth Friendly and safe work environment Task & Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks. Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on vehicles. Repair and replace faulty parts and components. Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning. Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines. Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems. Qualification & Experience Australian/NZ Recognized Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate Current Driver’s License Minimum 3 years’ previous experience with Heavy Vehicles  Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour. Commitment to safety and quality. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
