About the role
Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking a full time Ganger - Water Operations and Maintenance to carry out a variety of tasks within Council's Water and Waste section.
The role is responsible for constructing, altering and maintaining structures associated with the water and sewer infrastructure, and also for supervising a gang to ensure continuity of water services to the Bathurst region.
Key Requirements
Sound experience and knowledge in the supervision and coordination of staff, along with a proven ability to work effectively in a team
Detailed knowledge and experience in the laying of water and sewer pipes (construction, maintenance, and repairs)
A current NSW Drivers' Licence , WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card), and a current NSW Traffic Control Certificate (TC, MP)
Sound knowledge in the metric system of measurement
