Mount Isa Mines are currently advertising for Operators to the team within the Lead Smelter- Sinter and Blast Furnace. These are excellent opportunities to commence a career within the mining industry or further your experience and develop your existing technical skills and industry knowledge. The successful applicants will be someone that is hands on and keen to develop and learn some of the skills found within either at the Smelting and Refining - Lead Smelter. These positions are residentially based in Mount Isa., working a 2 Day 2 Night 4 Off Roster
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Maintain plant hygiene and hosing around the plant.
Carrying out plant checks and cleaning up spills
Supply tools and equipment to plant areas
