This position is responsible for the day to day activities performed in the IA Warehouse including initial receiving and sampling of material, pre-assembly of materials for Production orders, management of inventory using the ERP system and Despatch of finished goods from the site. The Warehouse Operator will be cross-trained to be competent multiple Warehouse functions.
Priorities
RECEIVALS / GOODS INWARDS:
Unloading of deliveries.
Checking deliveries are in a suitable condition.
Checking delivery documentation is in order and verifying quantities prior to ERP system receipt.
Breaking down materials received into separate batches as required in preparation for sampling.
ERP system transfer of materials received to designated storage areas.
Generation and attachment of ERP system ID labels as required;
Filing and management of Consignment notes and Pallet transfer dockets.
Accuracy of data input to the ERP system and supporting logs and performance data.
Liaison with Finance and Planning regrading Purchasing and Invoice
