About the Opportunity
The health services at Clarence has 3 modern health centres that delivers appropriate standards of health care to approximately 1700 inmates from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
You will provide primary care based on a patient-centred model allowing patients to actively participate in their health management. The team works closely with correctional staff to deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that:
Provide primary, acute and emergency care based on a patient-centred model allowing custodial patients to actively participate in their health management
Deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that treat and prevent communicable disease, and proactively treat chronic disease
Assist patients with reintegration back into the community
