A unique opportunity exists for an Environmental Sustainability Officer to assist with the coordination of sustainability projects under the Zero Emissions Shellharbour Program.
In December 2020, Shellharbour City Council committed to setting a net zero carbon emissions target for Councils operational emissions by 2035, and for our community emissions by 2050 in line with the NSW Governments target. Council recognises the impacts of climate change on our local region and its contribution to broader state, national and international emissions reduction targets so that we can prevent catastrophic impacts.
Join this exciting team where you will work on projects which enable us to build resilience within Council operations and give back to our community.
