On behalf of our client, The Continental Hotel Broome, are looking for enthusiastic, skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager this role is responsible for ensuring that the rooms are clean and available for our guests as soon as possible, enabling our Guests to feel `at home’ and comfortable during their stay.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train Housekeeping Attendants and Public Area Cleaners.
• Carry out supervisor room checks to ensure that all accommodation services are of a very high standard.
• Action any complaints with urgency and thoroughness.
• Have a close working relationship with the front office and hotel maintenance department and follow up on any issues.
• Report any potential health and safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend monthly departmental communication, training and information meetings.
• Carry out other duties as directed by the Housekeeping Manager
Requirements:
• Be flexible with work hours including late nights, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Have good communication skills and work well with others
• Have previous experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to help others
Salary from $75,000 per annum.
