HR Officer
Location: Broome, Western Australia

Far North Community Services is currently seeking a motivated individual to undertake the role of HR Officer in the vibrant town of Broome. This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient Human Resource practices to our Broome head office.
The successful applicant will be a goal orientated person with excellent time management and communication skills.

Key duties (include but are not limited to):
- Provide timely day-to-day HR advice and support to the Disability Services Manager, Coordinators and other employees
- Provide end to end recruitment process to fill vacant positions
- Manage and maintain recruitment and on-boarding processes
- Coordinate staff training in liaison with Training manager
- Provide advice to management and staff in relation to current Industrial relation laws
- Provide oversight on rosters and work hand in hand with Roster coordinators
- Maintain TRACCS (HRMIS) and HR records for Broome office
Essential Criteria
- Relevant qualification and experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industrial and employment related legislation, regulations and Awards.
- Demonstrated ability to support a culture of continuous improvement, be innovative and develop creative solutions to resolve human resource challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working partnerships with proven interpersonal, mediation and consultation skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated high level of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality
- Demonstration of advanced computer skills including Excel and Power Point.
