MYVIEW HOLDINGS PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Concrete Agitator Truck Driver with an immediate start on a permanent full-time basis. Job Purpose: As a Concrete Agitator Truck Driver, your primary responsibility is to operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck to transport concrete materials to construction sites safely and efficiently.
Salary Range: $110,000-120,000/per annum
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Duties:
Operate a concrete agitator truck to transport concrete materials to designated construction sites.
Ensure the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of concrete materials in accordance with company procedures and relevant safety regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its components to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the concrete agitator truck, including regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver concrete materials on time and to the correct location.
Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the concrete agitator truck.
Safety and Compliance:
Comply with all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and securing loads properly.
Report any safety hazards, accidents, or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to truck operations, including delivery schedules, mileage logs, and fuel consumption.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism and courteous communication with construction site personnel and customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to concrete deliveries in a timely and respectful manner.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and optimise truck utilisation.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least one year of prior Concrete Agitator Truck Driver experience.
Valid HR license with a clean driving record.
Ability to undergo medical and drug and alcohol screenings in compliance to the company policy.
Strong understanding of concrete transportation procedures and safety protocols.
Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials as needed.
Prior experience in the construction industry with roles dealing with concrete (desirable).
Working Conditions:
This position may require irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on project schedules and customer demand.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction site environments.
