We are currently seeking Skilled Meat Workers to join our team fulltime. The successful candidates will be responsible for various meat processing tasks, including boning, slicing, and other duties as required.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out skilled meat processing tasks, including stunning livestock
• Preparation, cutting, and trimming of meat according to company and regulatory standards.
• Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, such as band saws and slicers, while following safety protocols.
• Handle and sort meat cuts and by-products according to specifications for sale or further processing.
• Prepare carcasses by removing internal organs and hides for further processing.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of skilled work experience in meat processing, or a closely related field.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Must be fully available over a 7-day roster.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Q Fever vaccination or willingness to participate in vaccination process.
