All Metal Solutions is seeking an experienced, dedicated and qualified full-time Brake Press Operator/Machinist to join their dynamic team.
We are providing top-of-the-line metal solutions for the residential, commercial, industrial, and mining sectors. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this is a critical role in ensuring we maintain customer satisfaction for the range of products and services offered.
Overall Purpose of the Job:
To carry out all work to the requirements of the company and the client
To maintain a high and consistent standard of quality, health, safety and protection of the environment
Main Tasks:
Fitting, fabricating and precision machining of components related to the mining industry, agriculture and other industries.
Set up and operate the machine.
Task scheduling for timely repair and preventative maintenance.
Steel fabrication of metal parts and welding
Assist in the execution of installation and commissioning of new workshop equipment.
Use hand and power tools safely with a high level of safety standards
Ensuring repairs and any spare part replacements are completed to company standards and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Accurate completion of inspections and routine maintenance tasks
Criteria:
Trade Qualified Fitter/ Machinist/Operator
Ability to read and comprehend fabrication drawings
Well-developed communication skills
Work unsupervised and effectively within a team
Have a good attendance record
A remuneration package between $70,000 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
