Position: Chef
Salary: $73,150 per annum

The SOAK in Dampier opened its doors 4 years ago and the growth now requires Chefs who are highly energetic, dedicated, and experienced with the right blend to be part of the team to lift SOAK to the next level.
The Key Responsibilities of this role are
• The ability to work cohesively in a small team
• Prepare, cook and serve amazing breakfast and lunch and dinner dishes
• Ensure food is consistently exceptional and maintained to quality standard
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Seasonal menu design
• Effectively manage all food and labour costs in line with business expectations
• Manage daily kitchen activities (including overseeing kitchen staff and staff rostering)
• Motivate team members through positive behaviour.
• Participate in and reinforce the organisation of cost controlling and waste management of food
Requirements.
• Qualification of Commercial Cookery completed
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• The ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Understanding of industry standard hygiene practices
Our opening hours will be six days a week, closed on Monday between 5AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to late.
