Immediate opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant with aged care experience Your new company This growing aged care provider is looking to appoint a new Management Accountant to support the Finance Manager and Controller with financial planning, budgeting, analysis and reporting. This role offers a flexible work environment and is located close to public transport. Your new role You will be interviewed for the role of Management Accountant; within this role duties will include but not be limited to:
Business partnering, including reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Budgeting and forecasting
Preparing and assisting with acquittals and acquittal lodgements
Strong time management and organisational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
Contribute to and monitor performance measures, preparation of detailed analysis and commentaries to support budget development and strategic planning and decision making
Take leadership in resolving financial performance management issues, supported by appropriate analysis
Guide and influence business case prioritisation to ensure alignment with the finance strategy
Preparing, reconciling, and reviewing monthly bank and GL reconciliations
Assisting with end of month and annual financial reporting
Periodically, assisting with debtor follow up
Dealing with service/funding queries issues and discrepancies in a timely manner
Assisting the Finance Manager and Director with ad hoc tasks, reporting and projects as required
What you'll need to succeed You will have previous experience working in aged care and a management accounting role. You will have excellent business partnering skills as well as advanced reporting and Excel experience.
