In this role you will:
Participate in software development lifecycle from prototype to production models.
Setup software development platforms, frameworks, standards and processes.
Design software architectures for distributed and real-time systems.
Lead introduction and integration of standards, workflows and best practices.
Mentor junior team members.
Keep track of project scoping, planning and budgeting.
About you:
Over 10 years' experience in software development for real-time and distributed systems in industrial applications , e.g. mining, marine, rail, road transport.
Strong knowledge of software architecture design in distributed systems.
Experience with software version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Understanding of network communications and protocols (Modbus, CANOpen, DDS).
Knowledge of embedded systems and experience developing in C/C Strong skills in full software development life cycle. (Documentation, Requirements, Testing, Traceability).
Experience with operating systems deployed in industrial edge
