Mechanical Engineering Technician
Full-Time
Salary $75 to $85k per annum
Main Responsibilities:
• Assembling and installing mechanical systems.
• Troubleshooting, servicing and maintenance of machinery.
• Maintaining records and monitoring the availability of parts.
• Training co-workers.
Main Duties:
• Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies,
components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems.
• Estimating material costs and quantities and machine requirements
• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems
• Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans.
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
and performing repairs.
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance.
• Selecting tools and equipment.
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
• Collecting and analysing data.
Qualifications: Degree, Diploma or relevant experience
Experience: A minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
Skills:
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• A commitment to continuous improvement to develop skills and
• improve workshop practices
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good written and verbal skills
• Have a high level of energy and commitment.
• Own reliable transport and current Drivers License.
