As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic Recruitment Consultant to join our HR team and play a pivotal role in sourcing and attracting top talent within the Distribution, Logistics and Warehousing industries.
Job Overview:
As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in Logistics & Distribution, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their talent requirements and ensure a seamless recruitment experience. This role requires a deep understanding of the Warehousing and Transport sector, a knack for identifying high-potential candidates, and a passion for building strong employer-brand relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to each role within the Warehousing sector.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms, job boards), networking, and industry events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone screenings.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate the selection process, including skills assessments and reference checks.
- Negotiate salary offers and manage the hiring paperwork and onboarding process.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline of prospective candidates for future staffing needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations on recruitment best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Recruiter within the Warehousing and Distribution sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Strong understanding of advertising roles and skill sets, including creative, digital marketing, account management, and more.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification is required
Salary: 75,000- 95,000 + Super
