Position Summary:
Alzheimer's WA is seeking a skilled graphic designer to join our team full-time at our head office. Reporting to the marketing manager, you will create internal and external publications, brochures, and promotional materials to raise awareness for Alzheimer's WA. You will also play a key role in implementing the marketing and communication plan to align with our brand objectives.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
• assist in the design and preparation of in-house brochures, newsletters, information sheets, and merchandise using the Adobe Creative Suite of applications and Canva to create visually engaging graphic designs;
• design and prepare the organisation's publications, including the annual report and monthly newsletters;
• maintain Alzheimer's WA image library;
• collaborate with managers to ensure designs meet organisational standards, accurately convey ideas, and effectively represent the company;
• assist with updating the Alzheimer's WA website and social media channels with content in accordance with organisational standards;
• assist with the organisation of events, including set up and pack down as required;
• undertake administrative tasks as required, and perform any other duties as directed.
Selection Criteria:
• postgraduate degree in Design and Art;
• minimum 2 years’ experience as a graphic designer;
• experience working with social media;
• working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva;
• proven experience in successfully implementing brand and/or marketing campaigns across a range of communication channels;
• demonstrated experience in developing, measuring and interpreting brand and marketing metrics;
• excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders;
• excellent communication skills including the ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner and work collaboratively across teams and with relevant stakeholders;
• outstanding attention to detail;
• COVID019 vaccination certificate (3 doses); and
• NDIS Check.
