Under professional guidance, lead small teams, collaborate widely, assume responsibility for parts of projects, and be proactive in planning and undertaking data related projects using your knowledge and skills in the fields of statistics, data science and data analytics. Focus areas include developing survey design and estimation methods for ABARES surveys, producing key Agricultural Statistics, and calibrating prediction models to support various ABARES research themes. Themes include financial performance and production of Australian farms, sustainability and climate change impacts and agricultural commodity forecasts.
