Project Description:
We've been engaged by an Australian financial institution to support their Calypso asset within wide range of projects like Product & Pricing, Risk & Regulatory, Collateral Management, Version upgrades etc. We are looking for multiple people across business analysis, development, and QA as part of this large-scale engagement.
This role requires an experienced QA lead / manager with focus on multiple applications across capital markets area. Your main contribution will be to deliver Calypso offering in the Asia Pacific region covering end to end QA service. This role also requires managing QA team working on as part of a scrum team within a projects like Calypso upgrade or within a small or medium BAU changes.
This will be a high-profile engagement with a view to grow our footprint with this client.
Responsibilities:
• Design a test approach / strategy across capital markets domain.
• Defining the target state of the automation framework, tools, and the plan to implement it.
• Continuous improvement of test process and automation of the regression test suite
• Build and manage QA team comprising of both functional and automation experts.
• Analysis and estimation of test efforts for major / medium projects across multiple applications
• Planning monthly releases, prioritise new requirements and test environment management.
• Coordination and communication and issue resolution across BA, Dev, and QA teams
• Planning UAT activities and stake holder management with effective status reporting.
• Calypso, Markit Analytics, Markitwire as well as potential other applications as agreed.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• 10+ years' experience in Quality analysis and test automation in capital markets domain
• 3+ years of experience of Calypso as trading platform.
• QA Lead / manager experience managing medium to large upgrades or green field implementations.
• Advanced knowledge on preparing Test strategy, Planning and Estimation, Test Summary documents.
• Experienced in dealing with business stake holders, participating in working group meetings to provide updates on QA status.
• Good automation experience preferably on CI/CD
• Excellent communication, leadership, and Team management skills.
• Experienced with test automation tool like JIRA in setting up dash boards, requirement, and defect workflows.
• Working with Scrum master on planning release trains, iteration
• Basic domain knowledge on Interest derivative, Money market products booking, confirmation and settlement.
• Experience in Automation test framework, Test script preparation / execution, Defect Analysis.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• Experience on other capital market trading platforms like Murex
• Good domain knowledge on OTC derivatives clearing and IRD prodcucts.
• Devops experience with tools like Ansible / Terraform / Jenkins / Groovy
• Working experience on electrnic trading platforms like Bloomberg Trade, Markiwire, market data and regulatory platforms.
• Technically minded with good knowledge in SQL, UNIX, FpML, and XML.
• Test Automation using Calypso CATT / Murex MxTest
