Our client, Ramis Associates Pty Ltd, is hiring for a full-time Computer Network and Systems Engineer. The role will be based at Exchange Tower, Level 1, 530 Little Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000.

The Computer Network and Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
• Monitoring, analysing, and evaluating network infrastructure to ensure it operates at peak performance.
• Administering, installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining both new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations.
• Developing network programming tailored to meet specific business needs and requirements.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to network operations, as well as integrated hardware, software, communication systems, and operating systems.
• Designing, interpreting, and evaluating complex system specifications, data models, and diagrams for system development, configuration, and integration.
• Providing expert support and troubleshooting for network issues and emergencies.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for network inventory, and recording diagnoses, resolutions, enhancements, modifications, and maintenance instructions.
• Continuously monitoring network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to maintain integrity and optimal performance.
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable and efficient network services.
• Training and mentoring junior network staff on best practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field.
• A Graduate Degree in Information Technology (IT) with a specialisation in Networking.
Salary:
• $80,000 to $90,000 per annum
