Doka Australia is currently looking for a Business Development Manager in which you will represent the company and our products by extending our portfolio focusing on Broadbase and Civil opportunities within the formwork industry.
You will be working with both existing and new customers, work in collaboration with our highly skilled engineers and have the support from the operations and your sales colleagues. In addition, you will participate in an onboarding process that is designed for you and have access to ongoing training and a library of courses.
This position requires an enthusiastic individual who understands the formwork industry and is able to build key partnerships with a range of stakeholders and effectively close deals. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales.
You will be responsible for:
- To focus on the acquisition of broadbase and civil infrastructure projects
- To develop both new and existing accounts and expand business through face-to-face contact and regular job site visits with customers as well as cold calling
- To map out business opportunities and acquire broadbase/civil projects with particular focus on profitability, long term market penetration and overall coverage
- To identify market drivers & strategies as well as to develop and steer sales approaches
- To coordinate and effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders within the organization, especially with global expertise center and country sales and engineering network and resources
- To be proactively involved and accountable from tendering through project acquisition and entire project handling, depending on the complexity and scale of the project as well as per assigned by your immediate superior.
