We would love for you to come and join our team at our Vulcan site in Dandenong South.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop sales strategy and oversee implementation across three business units operating on one site: Aluminium, Stainless, and Engineering - ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Responsible for developing Sales Enablement Framework to empower and enhance sales team performance.
  • Manage a team of 10 direct report Sales Representatives and internal supervisors, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Maintain and nurture high-level accounts, significant presence in the market is critical.
  • Drive future growth and expansion of Vulcan, identifying new business opportunities and markets as well as growth of current business.
  • Utilise analytical skills to assess market trends, sales performance, and business strategies to refine operations and profitability.
  • Effectively communicate Vulcan’s value proposition across internal teams as well as with customers.
  • Demonstrate a high level of ambition and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, setting a strong example for the sales team.
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in the steel, metal, or industrial sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a sales team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ambitious and results oriented with a history of achieving growth targets.
