Managers are responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Our Managers develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. They are also responsible for understanding their clients' business and demonstrating technical competence in their product group and industry. Managers develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market, as well as supervising junior team members to project execution.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, documenting, evaluating and testing controls in a wide range of environments.
- Communicating control strengths and weaknesses to the client or internal audit engagement team and developing effective solutions.
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned project phases.
- Developing and maintaining effective client relationships.
- Applying understanding of Protiviti policies and proficiency in Protiviti methodologies.
- Applying understanding of business processes and technical skills to successful completion of project assignments.
- Supervision and training of project personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
Relevant professional certification such as CPA, CA or CIA
General Knowledge & Skills:
- Prior project management experience.
- Prior supervisory experience in a team environment.
- Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics.
- Sound job administration skills.
- Above average written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of current accounting (GAAP) and auditing (GAAS) principles.
- Understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT).
- Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including process mapping.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Prior experience in professional services preferred.
Ability to Travel: Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments.
