Bell Solar is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Administrator to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will support project management team in coordinating and executing solar installation projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all solar projects from inception to completion. You will be the central point of contact for all project-related activities, facilitating effective communication among team members, contractors, and clients. Your responsibilities will include managing project schedules, processing necessary paperwork, and maintaining comprehensive project records.
Your ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them will be essential in maintaining project timelines and ensuring client satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, contributing to impactful renewable energy projects across NSW.
Minimum Requirements:
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
• Proven experience in project administration or a similar role.
What you will be responsible for:
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of solar installation projects.
• Develop, review, and negotiate variations to contracts, programs, projects, and services.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Work with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners, and others to ensure that goals are met.
• Advise senior management on matters requiring attention and implement their decisions.
• Oversee work by contractors and report on variations to work orders.
• Prepare and review submissions and reports concerning the organization's activities.
• Collect and analyze data associated with projects undertaken and report on project outcomes.
• Prepare and process project-related paperwork and permits.
• Support project managers in tracking project budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management team.
Skills, experience and attributes:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the solar industry is advantageous but not essential.
