About the Electrical Engineering Intern Role:
Our Building Services Electrical team use expert thinking to drive efficient solutions for high and low voltage power supplies, utilities, standby generation, UPS, resilient systems, small power, fire alarms, security, lighting and power. We pay attention to critical systems and resilience levels.
As an electrical engineering intern in our team, you will be designing electrical & lighting systems to comply with standards across various market sectors including Defence, Data Centres, Space, Commercial, Hospitals, Highways, Rail & Metro, Airports etc.
Typical tasks would include:
- lighting calculations & design
- maximum demands
- circuit breaker protection and curve coordination
- designing single line diagrams and layouts
- coordinating with other disciplines e.g. Architecture & Structures.
