We are seeking a proactive Administrative Support Officer to join a local council in the South East within Regulatory Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our department. The ideal candidate will assist with data input, document preparation, and general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Inputting and maintaining information systems for Asset Protection applications and bond refunds.
Word processing letters, permits, notices, and other Regulatory Services documents.
Processing financial data for refund payments.
Supporting the School Crossing Support Officer with general enquiries and relief staff coordination.
Photocopying and organizing document reproduction.
Providing administrative assistance such as organizing meetings and compiling statistics.
Responding to telephone and counter enquiries with accurate information.
Maintaining a supply of public documents, forms, and information.
Retrieving and returning files from the records management section.
