Who we are The Emissions Reduction Division develops and implements Australias domestic climate mitigation policies and programs, including medium- and long- term emissions reduction policies and targets. It is also responsible for reducing emissions in the transport sector, voluntary action, and emissions reporting and projections. Our strategies and advice are complemented by the divisions oversight and policy advice for the Clean Energy Regulator and Climate Change Authority.You will be working in the National Inventory Systems and International Reporting Branch. This Branch delivers the National Greenhouse Accounts and emissions projections, which provide information on Australias historical, current and projected greenhouse gas emissions, fulfilling international reporting obligations.
