About the role:
As part of our commitment to invest in technology, processes, and people to unlock safety and productivity benefits, Aurizon has made the decision to continue with the deployment of the European Train Control System (ETCS) on its Central Queensland electric fleet.
Aurizons application of ETCS technology onto our heavy-haul coal fleet is known as the TrainGuard. Equipment is installed on-board locomotives which continuously supervises train speed and signals through associated centralised and trackside equipment.
