Residential role short drive from Toowoomba
The New Acland Coal Mine (NAC), a thin seam open cut mining operation is owned and managed by New Hope Group. Based in Acland, a short drive north-west of Toowoomba NAC has played a key role in the Darling Downs region as an employer and economic contributor since it began operation in October 2002.
As our mine grows, we are excited to offer a great opportunity for a degree qualified Engineer experienced in either Mine Engineering and / or Civil Engineering to join our Technical Services Team based on site in Acland and reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent.
What you will be doing:
Develop and deliver the short-term to mid-term mine plans which includes scheduling and design work
Work in partnership with the Technical Services Team to assist in Drill
