Our Client
Our client H W Greenham is a large 100% Australian privately owned and operated family business, that has built an excellent reputation over the last 25 years. During this time, it has established 3 manufacturing facilities across Victoria and Tasmania in the beef processing sector. They are leading suppliers to both the domestic and export markets with their high quality beef products.

The Role
With its head office in Port Melbourne and reporting to Group Sales Manager this key position will be primarily responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely reports, generating orders and providing sales administration support to ensure a seamless process.
The following is an overview of the key responsibilities:

Using Salesforce enter sales into the system
Ensure accuracy of PO details are aligned with the SO and country
Enter contract details and raise orders received from customers responsible for.
Keep production informed of incoming orders and related production requirements.
Liaise with freight forwarders (mostly international), communicating with and providing documentation to production and loadout to confirm arrangements
Monitor customer orders, ensuring they are on track and that products are meeting customer requirements.
Liaise with inventory and sales to ensure that all information is in order and up to date in relation to production and stock levels
Communicate with customers to understand their order requirements, ensuring that all documentation and inventory match
Liaise with Livestock Managers to understand what stock is coming in to assist with forecasting production and sales
Generate stock management and stock on hand reports to ensure that the sales team are informed
Alert the production and sales teams when there is old stock in store
Provide data and contribute to discussion regarding product and cuts required and available, using Salesforce "live" reporting tool
Step in to cover Sales Manager whilst they are travelling or on leave.
Liaise with freight forwarders to alert them to upcoming orders
Providing customers regular information on delivery of orders
Follow up on shortages and provide POD
Generate stock level/inventory reports
Provide report analysis as required to help sales and production
Generate aged and frozen stock
Using stock on hand reports
Run all analytics for the sales team, providing data on product movement
As part of the production planning process, generate reports by specific customers

Other duties will include working with the Production Planning, Marketing and QA teams. A comprehensive Position Description will be provided to short listed candidates.
Ideally you will have demonstrable experience within the Export/Import Produce/Food sector as the requirements of this role are quite specific.
About you
You will be a customer centric, task focused person who has an excellent attention to detail and can work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Your skills, experience and attributes should include:

Substantial experience in a similar role & industry (FMCG)
Polished communication skills
A high level of computer literacy (must include excel)
Ability to quickly adapt to change
Reporting on sales activity and targets
Excellent analytical skills
