We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Quality Advisor to join our site team on the Ichthys LNG, located in Darwin NT. This position attracts a full-time contract, working on a Monday – Friday roster.
About the role :
• Lead and influence the development of the Project Quality management systems
• Provide leadership to the project team on development and completion of project specific Quality deliverables and key quality documentation
• Lead the analysis and reporting of Quality performance and initiate strategies to improve outputs across site
• Assisting Construction / Project Managers in planning and organisation
• Ensure that any known quality incidents within and out with the business contribute towards driving continuous improvement
• Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice
• Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
• Preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings
• Coordinating works programs
• Inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
• Calculating costs and estimating time scales
About you :
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in energy, mining and/or construction industry
• Current and valid Quality Inspection certificates such as NACE Level 2 and ICORR Level 2 or CINI Insulation Inspector
• Humidor and STOPAQ experience or qualifications are highly desirable
• Sound knowledge of quality legislation, industry, and best practice standards and their relevant to the group
• Be well written and demonstrate capability in developing quality documentation including procedures, plans and reports
• Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skills
• Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
