Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Diagnosing electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic test equipment.
Taking apart electrical and electronic assemblies from their housing and their parts.
Connecting power-operated vehicle accessories to the power source.
Precisely adjusting engine control systems and timing mechanisms.
Thoroughly examining and changing alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors that display faults.
Fixing ignition and electrical wiring issues by repairing or substituting faulty components.
Referencing circuit diagrams and manufacturers’ manuals for accurate repairs.
Replacing or repairing faulty parts like fuses, lamps, and switches to ensure peak performance.
Installing electronic components and electrical devices in motor vehicles.
Requirements
Relevant qualification - Trade Qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in the similar role.
High attention to detail and display a positive & self-motivated attitude.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to work in a team environment.
