This role serves a dual purpose:
1) To manage the Corporate P&L and corporate admin overheads, as well as assist with the preparation of analyses and presentations to support the management of various corporate accounting and reporting matters.
2) To assist the Group Management Reporting Manager in several FP&A activities, including the management of budgeting/forecasting and month end reporting cycles and the preparation of a number of ad-hoc reporting presentations and other analyses for senior management and the Board
The role will also bring a process improvement mindset to the team.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Corporate Accounting (Actuals and Forecasts)
• Manage the monthly corporate recharge process, monitor corporate accruals, support the management of corporate cost centres in both forecast and actuals (including meeting with cost centre owners)
• Prepare periodic reporting presentations for forecast and actuals, including monthly full corporate P&L review, including variance analysis with the previous year and budget/forecast, and periodic corporate overhead analyses
• Prepare asset finance charge, brand charges and interest recharge calculations for both actuals and forecast
FP&A assistance
• Assist with system set up and data compilation for monthly CMT reporting pack and forecast / budget decks
• Monitor data integrity and system related issues/complexities for forecast submissions
• Consolidate and manage the Group Risks & Opportunities register
• Prepare and drive the timely execution of forecast cycle calendars, including driving stakeholder accountability and ensuring all stakeholder understand the ask
Projects
• Support process improvements projects (e.g. revamp of CMT deck, reduced month end timeline) and system capabilities improvements
