ConsultANZ is seeking a Mechanical and Hydraulic Engineering Technician for a client to work on diverse projects in WA in an on-site capacity.

$100k - $140k + super

Our client operates a piling business and requires the services of a skilled technician to work on a wide range of ground engineering equipment. Types of equipment include driven pile rigs, drilling rigs, cranes, trench cutters and concrete pumps.
The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in working on similar machinery with a focus on:
Install, replace or repair major equipment components and mechanical assemblies.
Installation, maintenance and repair of hydraulic power systems.
Read DRG schematics and diagrams while troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Interpret technical drawings of machinery to identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs
Use computers and other technologies to investigate, report on and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment
Reassemble machinery and equipment onsite
Ordering parts, estimating costs of repair and maintenance of equipment
The skills and experience for this position include:
Relevant diploma or equivalent work experience
Good computer skills
Technical knowledge of manufacturers including Bauer, Liebherr, Tesar
Mechanical and hydraulic system fault diagnosis and problem-solving
Ability to work and support large mechanical and hydraulic repairs
Valid driver licence
