ConsultANZ are looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanic to work for our client in Victoria Australia.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Your role will contribute significantly to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, ultimately supporting our operations in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Requirements:
Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Qualified Diesel Mechanic or relevant industry experience
Experience working on Heavy Equipment like Rollers, Pavers, Bitumen Sprayers, Trailers, Trucks and more.
Basic Computer Literacy
Current Driver's License
Construction White Card
Confined Space Certification
Working at Heights Certification
Elevated Work Platform High Risk License
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
Forklift License
Skills Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven organizational skills
Results-driven with a 'can do' attitude
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
Competent to work unsupervised
Understanding of machinery and/or plant operations
Knowledge of WHS&E practices
Proactive in identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Ability to adhere to instructions from management/clients
